The MediCoat™ CC1000 is a fully enclosed benchtop system built for laboratory R&D, coating process development, and specialty catheter manufacturing — engineered for engineers who need selective-area control, not just an entire catheter run through a tank. Using Sono-Tek’s patented ultrasonic spray technology, the CC1000 gives engineers precise control over coating thickness and selective area coating for lubricious, hydrophilic, and other functional coatings — batch processing up to five catheters per cycle.
Unlike conventional dip coating, which coats an entire catheter end to end, the CC1000 lets engineers apply highly uniform coatings only where they’re needed, with repeatable results part to part.
