See Sono-Tek at the 2014 Fuel Cell Seminar & Energy Exhibition

Visit Sono-Tek at the 2014 Fuel Cell Seminar at the Westin Bonaventure, Los Angeles, CA, November 10-13, 2014, Booth #313. Visitors will see a demonstration of ultrasonic spraying first hand. We will be showing our precision technology for fuel cell coating applications.

Sono-Tek ultrasonic coating systems are known worldwide. They are ideal for spraying PEM and SOFC cells with catalyst suspensions. In addition, our equipment can apply the electrolyte layer itself, such as liquid Nafion.

The ultrasonic nozzle technology used in our machines is non-clogging, and provides highly controllable uniform coatings. By having the liquid pass through an ultrasonic nozzle, the agglomerated particles are broken up, minimizing the use of expensive catalyst liquids. All of our machines are available with ultrasonic nozzles that range from 25 kHz to 180 kHz, allowing for maximum flexibility to create a porous coating.
