
Ultrasonic Atomizing Nozzles for Spray Drying
Sono-Tek’s ultrasonic spray dry nozzles are designed for easy retrofit into most lab scale spray dryers. The soft, low velocity atomized ultrasonic spray produces high yields of spray dried nanoparticles without adhering to the side walls of collection vessels, and the characteristic tight drop distribution of ultrasonic spray results in processes that are more repeatable than pressure nozzles can achieve.
The slim design of Sono-Tek nozzles can be configured to a customer’s specified length, allowing the atomizing tip to be placed at the optimal position within the spray dryer chamber.
