Sono-Tek VP Attends 3-D Printing Symposium

Sono-Tek’s Vice President of engineering, Robb Engle, recently attended a prestigious presentation and informal symposium on the future of 3-D printing hosted by the office of the president of SUNY New Paltz, Donald Christian and coordinated by Dan Freeman, Dean of School of Science and Engineering. The presentation was given by Dr. Hod Lipson of Cornell University, celebrated author of Fabricated: The New World of 3D Printing.

“This was surely a most dynamic and well organized presentation of the potential of printing. I highly recommend Dr. Lipson’s book. Sono-Tek is actively involved in several collaborative research areas for 3-D printing. The various 3-D technologies are revolutionizing many manufacturing methods,” said Robb Engle.
