FlexiCoat Eyeglass / Eyewear Lens Coating System
The FlexiCoat Lens Coating System is ideal for applying functional and aesthetic coatings on eyeglass or other lenses. The FlexiCoat System is an inline programmable 3-axis small footprint automated coating system with fully automated control of process parameters, program recipe storage, and many optional features, including conveyor.
The FlexiCoat is designed for applying Anti-Reflective (AR), Hard Coat/Scratch Resistant (SRC), Anti-Glare, Anti-fog, Anti-smudge, UV Blocker, tint, photoresist onto eyeglass (including bifocals) and sunglass lenses with highly accurate repeatability and uniformity. Ultrasonic spray systems are well known for their precise thin film coatings and minimal overspray of expensive solutions. The FlexiCoat system is a full coating solution, replacing traditional coating techniques, such as dipping and spin coating, to reduce waste and minimize overspray. The FlexiCoat has the flexibility to develop a process as an R&D system and then be utilized at full potential for production volume coatings. The FlexiCoat is a quicker, inexpensive alternative or replacement to CVD machines, with proven expertise coating various types of lenses.
