Programmable Reciprocating Coating System


HyperSonic is an automated high speed ultrasonic wet process reciprocator designed to spray uniform thin film layers of solutions and nanosuspensions such as anti-reflection coatings and phosphoric doping chemistries (up to 85% phosphoric acid concentration) onto silicon or thin film solar cells in high volume manufacturing. Available as a retrofit unit for integration with existing pilot and high volume manufacturing lines or as a fully enclosed standalone unit with integrated conveyor. HyperSonic is suitable for any application requiring high speed reciprocation to spray uniform layers of nanosuspensions and solutions. This robust reciprocator unit is fully integrated with Sono-Tek’s Impact ultrasonic nozzle technology, with full process control via a user friendly Windows-based notebook.

The HyperSonic uses Sono-Tek’s Impact air shaping system to create a fan shaped spray pattern.
