SonoFlow CSP
Continuous flow syringe pump with ultrasonic agitators for dispersing suspensions
SonoFlow CSP ultrasonic continuous syringe pump features include:
- Fully integrates with Sono-Tek ultrasonic nozzles and motion systems
- Allows for uninterrupted continuous flow
- Capable of flow rates down to .001 ml/min
- Recirculation pump continuously mixes liquid
- Integrated with SonicSyringes for deagglomeration of susupensions
The SonoFlow continuous syringe pump system is an adaptation of the CSP Flow (Continuous Syringe Pump) designed specifically for applications using suspensions with particles that tend to agglomerate and fall out of suspension rapidly. SonoFlow consists of dual alternating ultrasonic syringes with a continuous recirculation loop. The system’s (2) SonicSyringe™ ultrasonic agitators create continuous ultrasonic vibrations, keeping solutions evenly dispersed during the entire coating process.
All system functions are controlled with Windows®-based software for ease of setup and use.

Operating Principle
The SonicSyringe™ employs disc-shaped piezoelectric transducers located inside the syringe plunger to convert high-frequency electrical energy into mechanical energy, which is transferred into the liquid suspension.
The liquid delivery capabilities of the SonoFlow are well suited to a number of applications with aqueous and solvent-based suspensions, including:

- Solar Cell nanosuspensions
- Carbon nanotubes
- Ceramic suspensions
