![]() Circuit boards can be transported either by the wave solder machine’s conveyor or by Sono-Tek’s optional chain/tab conveyor as shown (the 24” system is depicted). The SonoFlux XL is also available as a retrofit system for installation into all major wave solder machines. SonoFlux XLSonoFlux spray fluxing systems with their stationary, non-clogging ultrasonic nozzle and spray dispersion mechanism have been proven in thousands of industrial PCB fluxing applications worldwide. The SonoFlux XL system contains a wide array of features. It is a powerful production tool capable of full automation. Systems are available for retrofit into any wave solder machine or for stand-alone operation. The SonoFlux XL system has many integrated features:
VERSATILE ELECTRONIC CONTROL – The SonoFlux XL system incorporates an expandable, programmable controller, which monitors and controls all system functions. All process settings are easily changed using a user-friendly operator keypad and LCD display. SOFTWARE/HARDWARE INTEGRATION – The SonoFlux XL is the only spray fluxer that has full software integration available for all major brands of wave solder machines. FLUX APPLICATION – Flux is supplied from a closed reservoir by a positive displacement gear pump. The unpressurized flux reservoir (no air/nitrogen required) includes both a filter and a level sensor to protect the pump and alert the operator to a low flux level condition. The flux is atomized into a fine mist at the tip of the non-clogging, largeorifice, ultrasonic nozzle, and then dispersed horizontally to the correct width, up to 24", by compressed air before being directed at high velocity onto the bottom side of a PCB by a vertical stream of air. FASTEST PAYBACK – In many installations, SonoFlux systems have reduced flux consumption by up to 80%, as well as reducing solder defects by a similar amount. Compared to foam fluxing, additional savings are achieved by eliminating thinner and titration, and reducing waste disposal costs. SERVICE AND SUPPORT – Sono-Tek Corporation prides itself on offering technical support second to none.North American-based service personnel and international distributors employing factory-trained technicians provide this high standard of service throughout the world. Sono-Tek is one of the originators of spray fluxing technology. As the needs of the industry have changed, we have continued our commitment to leadership through state-of-the-art design and unsurpassed customer service. ![]() SFXL05R1W |
