IT Technician (Part Time)
- Title: IT Technician
- Hours: 15-20 Hours a Week
- Support and maintain client workstations
- Repair and restore files
- Performs intranet website updates as required
- Perform server and client backups
- Document and present ideas and changes
- Assist the Information Technology Administrator on various
tasks and projects as they arise - Requirements:
- Knowledge of MS Office products
- Knowledge of Linux and the command line
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2003
- Knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software
- Flexibility in time management and organizational skills are essential to handle multiple priorities
- A good understanding of XHTML, CSS
- A basic understanding of PHP or similar programming language
- A basic understanding of SQL databases, MySQL a plus
- Very good communication skills are needed for all aspects of this job
- Ability to spend long periods of time at a computer to accomplish daily tasks
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
