Ultrasonic Antimicrobial Spraying Systems for Medical and Industrial Textiles


Antimicrobial coatings are used in several markets, including medical device coatings, textile coatings, food packaging, and by the Department of Defense and Homeland Security. Surgical masks, gloves, bandages, wound dressing, hospital textiles, surgical gauze, as well as carpeting and other various woven and non-woven textiles, are just a few of the surfaces that can be sprayed with uniform nanolayer antimicrobial solutions and suspensions using the ultrasonic spray systems. Uniform nanolayers of antibacterial solutions including silver silane, silver nitrate, or natural antimicrobial agents sprayed onto food products to enhance food safety, extend shelf life, and inhibit the growth of mold, gram (+) and gram (-) bacteria. Medical ultrasonic coatings are effective for reducing the risk of (Hospital Acquired Infections) HAIs.

The WideTrack wide area coating system is commonly used to spray wide area substrates and moving webs of materials such as fabrics with nanolayers of antimicrobials.
